Alex Buriak | Operator Across Capital Markets and AI
Operator · Capital Markets & AI · Houston, TX

I closed 632 loans before I automated a single one.

Twelve years inside capital markets, by hand, before any of it was a system. Now I build the AI that operators, lenders, and the banks that finance them actually run, in the verticals where I've already done the work.

The Thesis

AI doesn't replace operators. It changes the diagnostic.

From medicine to lending to AI implementation, the discipline never changed: find what's actually wrong before touching anything. The patients change. The instruments change. The diagnostic doesn't.

Three Doors

Where to go from here.

01 / Capital

You have a deal.

Iron Rock gets business-purpose deals capital-ready for the lenders that fund them, through our broker and lending partners. Every point and fee disclosed. A straight fit-or-no-fit read in two business days.

02 / AI

Your operation is slow.

We build AI that takes over the slow, repeat work: loan files, paperwork, follow-up, the stuff that eats your team's day. Built into the systems you already run. You own it when it's done. Direct engagements are scoped here, a few per year.

03 / Programs

You'd rather run it yourself.

Self-service AI tools, the Power5 executive suite, and a booked one-hour working session with me directly: your bottleneck, your build plan, no package required.

What's Still Running

Every build outlasted the construction.

The first institutional build opened at the University of Pittsburgh in 2008: a Physician Assistant program proposed, modeled, and walked through accreditation by an undergraduate. It still runs today. Same pattern from medicine to lending to AI: find the gap before others see it, build the bridge, refuse to wait for permission.

Speaking

The audience leaves with something to ship.

Operators, lenders, real estate investors, and teams scaling AI into real businesses. Three areas, drawn from work already done, not adjacent material I'm theorizing about.

01 / Topic

Operations & growth strategy

What scales without breaking. Where the bottleneck is hiding before anyone in the room sees it.

02 / Topic

Real estate & private lending

What's actually happening in the capital markets, drawn from 632 personally closed loans and seven years at the senior level of a private debt firm.

03 / Topic

AI implementation for operators

Not the hype. What works in the first ninety days, what breaks, and what separates a working AI system from a slide deck.
